Today, we honor and remember someone who was so much more than a coworker-she was family to us. Her kindness, laughter, loving heart, and beautiful spirit made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Though are hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the love she shared with all of us.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our friend and coworker, Cammy Cortes.
Cammy joined Disabled Resource Services in January 2024 as our Independent Living/Vision and Disability Matters Specialist and quickly became a valued part of our DRS family. She dedicated more than 20 years to serving individuals with disabilities and brought kindness, compassion, and care into the work she did every day.
Cammy will be deeply missed by our staff, consumers, and community. We are grateful for the time we had with her and for the impact she made in so many lives.
Our thoughts are with Cammy’s family, friends and all who knew and loved her.
