Help Preserve Loveland's Story for Future Generations!

As part of Loveland's 150th Anniversary celebration, we're creating a new Time Capsule that will be sealed until our bicentennial in 2076—and we want you to be part of it!

Residents and businesses are invited to submit one item that captures what life in Loveland is like today. Whether it's a letter to the future, a favorite photo, a local recipe, memorabilia, or something that represents your business or family, your contribution will help tell Loveland's story for generations to come.

Submissions can be dropped off at Loveland City Hall (120 W. Loveland Avenue) Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through October 30, 2026.

Items should be no larger than 8½" × 11" and, if possible, laminated or sealed in a waterproof bag.

The new time capsule will be placed at the future Nisbet Park Amphitheater, replacing the City's original 1976 capsule.

If you’ve been thinking about coming to the Mayor’s Gala, this is your sign. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to get your tickets! The evening will include welcome reception, open bar, gourmet dinner, champaign toast at sunset, band, casino, silent auction, and raffles.

And just wait until you see what’s up for grabs in the silent auction…

- Own a Piece of Loveland History
Take home the actual bourbon barrel that held our 150th Anniversary Bourbon from New Riff — PLUS a bottle of the 150th Anniversary Bourbon.

- Become a Brewmaster for a Day
Create your very own b**r at DVD Brew. Choose it. Name it. Brew it. Tap it. Then guest bartend while raising money for your favorite charity. Yes, really.

- Cappy’s Private B**r Tasting for 10
Gather your crew and enjoy a private b**r tasting at Cappy’s.

- Dinner at the Fire Station
Chef Tano and Chief Huber have partnered to offer a private dinner for 10 at the new Loveland Fire Station — and take home a Blackstone Grill and Bourbon.

- The Council’s Bourbon Collection
A basket packed with bourbon and an assortment of bourbon accessories donated by City Council and staff.

- Your Own Downtown Parking Space
Forget circling the block. Bid on your very own downtown parking space for an entire year.

- Put Yourself on the Menu
Work with Chef Tano to create and name a menu item after yourself. Imagine ordering dinner and saying, “I’ll have the [YOUR NAME HERE].”

- Golf with the Mayor
Enjoy lunch and 18 holes of golf for three — with the Mayor.

And these are just a few of the incredible items waiting for you. Don’t miss your chance to celebrate 150 years of Loveland, enjoy a great evening and bid on some seriously fun experiences.
