Loveland CROP Hunger Walk The Loveland CROP Hunger Walks is community-wide event sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local volunteers to raise funds to end hunger.

The Loveland CROP Hunger Walk takes place each Fall as a part of a nationwide endeavor to raise money to alleviate hunger and poverty in this country and overseas. The concept is simple: Ending hunger one step at a time. CROP Hunger Walks support the grass roots, poverty-fighting development efforts of Church World

Service (CWS) in more than 50 countries, including the USA. CROP Hunger Walks provide tools of hope that empower people to meet their own survival needs. From seeds and tools, to wells and water systems, to technical training and micro-enterprise loans, the key is bringing people together to overcome poverty, which is the world's #1 cause of hunger.

Our recruiters, the backbone of the CROP Walk, are busy getting walkers. Your help is needed. We have set a goal of $17,500 this year. Our walk is in memory of Bill Spearman. He was a devoted follower and inspiration to us all. He and his wife, Sylvia, were on our committee. Remember, the date is Oct 5 at King of Glory, 29th and Wilson. Check in at 8:30 a.m. with walk starting at 9:00. Thank you for your support. We walk because they walk.

We are in the planning stages of our 2019 Loveland Area CROP Walk. The date is Oct 5th at King of Glory Lutheran Church. Our recruiters meeting is Aug. 26 at King of Glory.
We are looking forward to a good year. We have set a goal of $17,500. Last year we raised over $16,000. Remember we walk because they walk.

We have a group of young people from First Presbyterian church walking in the Corn Roast Parade. We could use more to help carry the banner and hand out balloons. Thanks for all your help.

We need walkers for the Corn Roast Parade- Aug 22. Meet at the fairgrounds at 7:30 a.m. We are # 25 in Section A. Look for the banner. It will take about 1hour to walk the mile. We appreciate your help. Thanks.

Loveland CROP Walk is busy getting ready for this year's walk. October 3 is the date at King of Glory. Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. We will be ordering t-shirts and getting brochures printed. Thank You !! We have received the totals for this year's Loveland CROP Hunger Walk.

$22.758.99 was raised to help fight hunger this year. Remember that the House of Neighborly Service receives 25% of those donations. We all contributed $5689.75 to our city while the rest of the proceeds assist needy people around the world.

Thanks again and mark you calendar for the Loveland CROP Hunger Walk next year, on Oct. 3rd !
