Lovell Animal Control This page is devoted to the Lovell Police Department's Animal Control shelter. The shelter serves the communities of Lovell, Byron, Cowley, Deaver & Frannie.

Lovell Animal Control handles all animal related calls inside the town limits of Lovell. The town of Lovell employees one part-time Animal Control Officer who cares for the animals at the shelter, and responds to animal related calls in Lovell.

📢 FOUND CATS – OWNER SEARCH 📢

We currently have two cats at the Lovell Animal Shelter that were caught in a live trap in the area of E. 8th St. and Nevada Ave.

At this time, they are very scared, and we are unable to safely determine their s*x.

If you believe one (or both) of these cats may belong to you, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will be holding them for a short period to allow time for an owner to come forward. If no owner is located, they will be evaluated and placed up for adoption.

**Traps have been removed, shelter is full**

📢 Community Notice – Live Traps in Use

The Lovell Animal Shelter will be setting live traps in the following areas:

• E. 8th St. & Nevada Avenue
• E. 3rd St. & Quebec Avenue
• 800 block of Montana Avenue

⚠️ Important:
If you live in or near these areas, please keep your cats indoors during this time to prevent them from accidentally being trapped.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to keep both pets and stray animals safe. If you have questions or believe your cat may have been trapped, please contact the Lovell Police Department.
