Lovelock Nevada

Lovelock Nevada Lovelock also serves as a base camp for adventure and activities including fishing, hunting, boating, hiking and geo-caching.

The city of Lovelock is located off Interstate 80 in central Nevada and serves as the gateway to “Nevada’s Cowboy Country.” With a population of just over 2,300, the town is home to numerous historical sites and unique locations including Lovers Lock Plaza, the nation’s only love-locking destination. The Pershing County Courthouse, built in 1919, is the only round courthouse in the USA that is in

use daily. The Lovelock Train Depot was constructed in 1880 and is the only one of its style still in existence (now the Visitors Center).
