Loves Park Rotary Club Be our guest! Please visit our website below to see when we meet or send us a message. Rotary is the world’s first service club. The Four Way Test

1.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Paul Harris founded the first Rotary club in Chicago on February 23, 1905. Rotarians meet weekly for fellowship and interesting and informative programs dealing with topics of local, nati

onal and global significance. Membership is by invitation and represents a wide cross section of the community. Rotarians plan and carry out a remarkable variety of humanitarian, educational and cultural exchange programs that touch people’s lives in their local communities and our world community. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Three quick reminders for today's meeting:
1) Bring your own lunch
2) No Zoom, because after we eat, we'll be outside planting flowers
3) Bring some gloves and a small hand shovel or something, because we'll be outside planting flowers.
That is all, see you soon! 🌻🌻🌻🐝🦋

“How do we recruit more members?” became, instead, “How do we create more opportunities for service and belonging?” -Here's a great excerpt from this article, give it a read for a fresh dose of inspiration!

What if the real challenge isn't membership, but relevance?

Leonardo Mangoldt saw this firsthand across communities in Argentina and recognized that growing membership and strengthening community impact go hand in hand. Inspired by this, he and his club focused on creating more opportunities for service and belonging.

The result? Eight new Rotary clubs, three new Interact clubs, and Rotary returning to communities where it had disappeared.
