Important Update: Donation Dock Closed Today (6/10)! If you have a purchase pickup, we have extended pickups an extra day.

For the safety of our team and donors, our donation dock at 7141 Harrison Ave. will be closed today due to the extreme heat. We truly appreciate your interest in supporting the Rockford ReStore, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

We expect to reopen the dock tomorrow and look forward to receiving your donations then. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Just Featured!

Facilitated dialogue gave people the tools to listen, share, and learn without escalating conflict. Reflection and storytelling deepened understanding and helped participants internalize what they were learning. Teams that built plans to prevent people from staying in comfort zones were the most successful. Small‑group mixing, cross‑table assignments, and rotating roles helped participants meet new people meaningfully. For example, an interfaith home build in Rockford, Ill. used discussion prompts and a prayer walk to provide opportunities for participants to meaningfully connect before and after their home build.

Interfaith America, YMCA of the USA, Catholic Charities, and Habitat for Humanity International created Team Up to help communities connect across difference through service.
