City of Lowell Arkansas

City of Lowell Arkansas The City of Lowell is a progressive community considered the hub of Northwest Arkansas. We are a small city with the convenience of a large metropolitan area.

Residents enjoy a quiet community with an easy commute to anywhere in Northwest Arkansas.

Today, I joined Senator Bart Hester and leaders from across Northwest Arkansas to celebrate the opening of the newest section of the Springdale Bypass, Highway 612.

This project is an important investment not only for Springdale, but for communities throughout our region, including Lowell. Better regional connections mean improved access to XNA, more efficient travel for residents and businesses, and continued progress toward reducing congestion as Northwest Arkansas grows.

Infrastructure does not stop at city limits. The roads and connections we build throughout Northwest Arkansas directly impact how our residents get to work, how businesses move goods and services, and how communities like Lowell continue to grow responsibly.

I’m grateful for the regional and state leaders who continue to invest in Northwest Arkansas, and I was proud to be there today representing Lowell.

Time to mark those calendars. The annual Touch‑A‑Truck event hosted by LFD is set for Saturday, September 12th at Ward Nail Park. Bring the family out to explore our fire trucks and a variety of other community vehicles up close. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Springcreek, just south of Ladelle will be closed Monday, 8/31/26, until Sunday, 9/6/26. Detours will be Zion and Puppy Creek.

This will allow contractors to extend storm pipe across Springcreek.

Springcreek and Meadowland residents south of the closure will detour to Puppy Creek and Zion.

There is a possibility it will be opened sooner.
