Lowell Township Recall invites you to attend Monday's Township Board meeting. The township is going to continue to discuss the limiting of public comment in considering new bylaws to their meetings.

It is important for us as a community to continue to show and use your voice as we move through the recall phase. We will soon know if we have made the ballot. It is important that we stand in solidarity and show the township officials we will not go away in silence!

Take note of the letter from Mika Meyers. The law firm that was newly hired to represent township. They also represent The Barnabas Foundation. The current owners of the 237 Microsoft wants to build on. There should have been far more discussion in the public meeting when Mika Meyers was hired. Disclosure of this fact would have been better received had this been disclosed before hiring. Transparency is something this board lacks. May 4th we will make change!

Lowell Township Recall has gotten through the first hurdle of petition review. Making us one step closer to getting our recall on the May 4th ballot! One step closer to elected officials who believe in integrity and transparency!

What's the next step for Lowell Township Recall? While the County Clerks Office verifies almost 1300 signatures per official Lowell Recall is going to start the process of candidate selection!

We are reaching out to Lowell Township residents who have an interest in running for one of 3 positions. Township Supervisor and two township board trustees.

Lowell Township Recall formally submitted our recall petitions for Jerry Hale, Mark Anderson and William Thompson.

Congratulations and Thank you's to 53 volunteers(!) who canvassed neighborhoods & staffed signing events over the last 58 days. You collected well over the goal set for signatures!

Thank you's to so many residents who opened their doors, drove to events, and made time to sign!

This moment belongs to our volunteers and community that came together when Lowell Township needed them most.

The Numbers?

Our recall petitions drew signatures equal to nearly two-thirds of the 2026 primary voters!

Jerry Hale, Supervisor:
1299 signatures
Mark Anderson, Trustee:
1290 signatures
William Thompson, Trustee: 1284 Signatures

When will we know?

Kent County Clerks Office has until Oct 13th to verify signatures.
Trustees have until Oct 28th to challenge.
Kent Clerks Office has until Nov 2nd to officially certify if the recall is going on May's ballot.

What's Next for Lowell Township Recall?

Our next task as a committee and community is to select our candidates and next Township Board members! More details will be coming soon about this process!
