The UMass Lowell Office of Life Safety & Emergency Management and partners have been working on installing bleeding control kits on campus, ensuring we are ready to handle a bleeding emergency wherever necessary. Find them in the Tsongas Center, Lydon Library, UCrossing, McGauvran Center, and Fox Hall.

While on a trip out of Lowell, our Assistant Manager Mark Richard met with CWRU EMS Assistant Chief of Personnel Alex Flores to compare our collegiate EMS programs and strategies for the future. Thank you CWRU for meeting with us! We look forward to continuing to build positive relationships with our National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation (NCEMSF) partners!

UML has partnered with Bay State EMS Educator's LLC to offer a new EMT course on campus this upcoming fall semester! The course code is HSCI.2190 and is now available on SiS student portals. Course counts as 6 college credits. Only 20 spots, sign up soon!

After concluding our Days Of Giving at UML this year, we want to thank all of our supporters and anyone who contributed to our program! We came in the top five donor groups for the entire university, and we are so thankful for all of you!! Due to 170 separate donations, we are able to continue bettering our EMS program.

LOWELL — UMass Lowell set a new philanthropy record during its seventh annual Days of Giving celebration, raising more than $3.85 million from nearly 4,000 donors.
