We have ended our Fall/Winter swim lessons last month, and are now looking forward to Summer swim lessons!

Lowell Recreation Summer Swim Lesson information is available on our website now. Registration for Lowell residents begins May 18th, and then May 25th for non-residents. Lessons will be held at South Common and McPherson Pools. Make sure you sign up for your swim test only at the pool you’d like to take lessons at. Lessons may only be taken at one pool.

Lessons are offered mornings or evenings either on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Right now lessons are offered for ages 5-14 only, but other ages will be added if these ages do not fill up all of the spots. Testing is July 1-4 and registering for testing only guarantees a test and not a lesson. Lessons are filled at testing on a first come first served basis by testing level. Once a swim level is full, a wait list will be created.

Hope to see you next Saturday! 🚲

We had so much fun giving your children the “royal treatment” last week! They had their nails painted, hair styled with tiaras and makeup done while listening to Disney music. Some of them even got to put makeup on our employees 🤣 We also made a tissue paper craft, played Disney Princess-themed board games, a princess beanbag toss, decorated cupcakes and had a “tea” party. We ended each afternoon with games like Duck Duck Goose and Freeze Dance. We hope your princes and princesses had as much fun with us as we had with them! 🤴🏻👸🏻🏰💖
