Strength, balance, and connection 💛

With support from a $7,000 grant from the Greater Lowell Community Foundation, Community Teamwork, Inc. expanded its Bone Builders program for elders in Billerica.

The program quickly reached near full enrollment, with strong demand and growing waitlists, showing just how needed these opportunities are.

Participants are already seeing results: improved balance, increased strength, and meaningful social connections.

A life rooted in community. A legacy that gives back. 💛

William “Bill” Alexis was known across Lowell for his warmth, kindness, and the sense of connection he created at his corner pharmacy.

After his passing, his family chose to honor that legacy by establishing the Alexis Family Scholarship Fund through the Greater Lowell Community Foundation, supporting Lowell High students pursuing a future in pharmacy.

Because a life well lived can continue to open doors for others.
