We have a fresh batch of purple basil salt, garlic salt, garlic scape salt, and hot pepper salt ($8 jar) at both Farmer Casey's Ranch, 4730 McCartney Road, and The Purple Cat Disco Garden, 107 W Federal Street. Farmer Casey's Ranch produce stand (open daily 9 to 1) now has peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, and elephant garlic grown from our greenhouse program. The Purple Cat honey (small $6, large $10) and farm fresh eggs are always available ($3 a dozen). Boardman and some of our friends from Pearl St were treated to a presentation from Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association. We talked about how we use our 5 senses in the garden…these ladies went all out with a skit, songs, games, yummy watermelon, and they helped us pot a bunch of plants to enjoy! 👏
