Come down to the Waterford Fire Station this Friday at 5 pm for our annual Block Party and enjoy a delectable drink or cocktail served by The Tack Room Bar. The Tack Room Bar is a mobile bar that previously served its life as an old horse trailer. Look at it. Isn't it just the most charming little bar cart! They serve cocktails and mocktails with only the freshest of ingredients. You can taste the difference! Check out these reviews: https://thetackroombar.com/

We hope you'll join us on Friday and show Davies Memorial a little love!

We wanted to highlight the amazing local band, Doctors of Sound (DRS) that will be playing our annual Block Party this Friday. Doctors of Sound play an upbeat mix of classic country, rock and folk. Bring your dancing shoes as it is sure to be a great time!

It's a stellar foliage year and we can't think of a better way to spend it than with the Waterford community. Come show Davies Memorial a little love this Friday at 5 pm at the Waterford Fire Station.

Have you heard about the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program?

The concept is simple. Read a book, any book, to your newborn, infant or toddler. The goal is to have read 1000 books before they start kindergarten. If you read just one book a night, you will have read 365 books in a year.

At Davies Memorial Library, we host a story time hour every Monday at 8 a.m. We offer prizes each story time, every 100 books read and when the final milestone of 1000 books is reached. This is a fun interactive way to participate in the program and to help foster a lifetime love of reading.

Contact us if you'd like for your child to participate in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program at the library.
