With help from the Lions Club and grants received we have new picnic tables and benches at the park pavilion. They look great!

It was so nice to hit the streets yesterday and talk to residents about the upcoming election. Many residents had other concerns about happenings around town and we were more than happy to chat.

If there are ever any questions or concerns you have as a citizen of Lowry, please note city council meets the first Tuesday of every month, 7:00 at the community center. Next meeting is TOMORROW All are welcome to come talk, visit, or just listen.

You have a voice! Lowry wouldn't be this great community without your support.

Reminder, we will be walking door to door this afternoon to offer information and clarity on the proposed transition to a Plan A city.

Lowry Residents-
We had a good turnout for our Plan A informational meeting last night, but understand there are still many with questions and concerns.

We will be walking around town on Sunday stopping at houses to provide information and clarification on what transitioning to a Plan A means and entails. We will have detailed information to provide to each resident.

📢 Public Information Meeting – Plan A Statutory City

Edited to include: Transitioning to a Plan A city allows for hiring qualified professionals not in city limits for the clerk and treasurer positions, in turn opening an extra city council position.

The City of Lowry invites all residents to attend a public information meeting to learn about the proposed transition to a Plan A Statutory City.

This meeting is an opportunity to hear what the change would mean, ask questions, and gather information before the upcoming election. No decisions will be made at this meeting—it is intended to provide residents with factual information so they can make an informed choice.
