In response to community concerns about increasing amounts of litter left behind by visitors to New York's natural areas, DEC would like to remind outdoor adventurers to follow the principles of #LeaveNoTrace. DEC is receiving increased reports of visitors leaving trash behind after trips to State lands, waters, and facilities, particularly in the Adirondack Park and the Catskills.

Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association

So sorry to lose such a dedicated person. But family should come first! Enjoy yours Joe Onyon!

ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE!

I have been a offficer in ATV clubs and president of the Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association for several years and it has come time in my life for a change so I have stepped down as president of the Tug Hill Adirondack ATV Association and believe this was a tuff decision to make.
I have enjoyed watching families and friends spending time riding the tug and I truly believe folks enjoyed the safe trails that we provided for everyone to enjoy.
It hasn’t been decided who will take the rains but I do ask that everyone gives the same support to my replacement as you gave to me.
I still plan to spend time on the Tug riding and watching families enjoying the TUG.

THANK YOU
Joe Onyon

Permit sales are now being processed at our local businesses. REMINDER, it is still the same online application that can be done from your own device. The only difference is you can pick up your sticker and map rather than have them mailed to you. To process at the businesses, the vendor clicks the tab on the bottom of the application before you hit submit. They put in their code and permit numbers issued before handing it back for you to process the payment. WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING PAPER APPLICATIONS. The three day pass is online only, your receipt is your three day pass so make sure you type in your email correctly. Maps from the 3 day passes can be picked up at these vendors with the code at the bottom of your receipt. Proof of insurance is still required and any additional permits needed at a later date must be processed at the County Clerks office. Thank you for your support! Happy Trails!

Looking for volunteers to help with cleaning up the picnic area on Singing Waters Park. Lewis County is updating the facility and had to have it harvested to remove the trees. Now we need to cut up the blocks and chip the limbs so the area can be used again. If you are free on Monday June 29th and want to come help, please join us at 7273 Fish Creek Road in the Town of Greig. The Chipper and crew will be there from 7 am to 3:30 pm

Lee Gulf Trail is Closed. If you are going around the gates to use it, you are jeopardizing our use of it in the future. This is on Private land, and the landowner you are using to get around the gate is upset and considering closing our access. If you are going around gates on closed trail, it impacts us all. Please ride responsibly. We are trying to grow our trail system, not lose more of it! All actions have consequences.
