The Lowville Free Library Board of Trustees is excited to introduce our new Library Director!
We are so pleased to introduce our new director, Karissa Gerdon. You may have seen her at the library as the newest addition over the past week, as she has begun getting up to speed and familiarizing herself with our library. Karissa is joining us with a strong background in library service from her time at the Croghan Free Library, and we are so thrilled for the knowledge and experience that she will bring to our team. Please stay tuned for an introduction from Karissa in the coming days, and if you stop by the library, we hope you give her a warm welcome to the Lowville Free Library Community!
We also want to recognize the dedication of our staff, each of whom has done a wonderful job in keeping the library going strong - as always, Shiloah, Kim, and Elaine have been truly phenomenal! Finally, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to all our patrons and community members for your generosity and patience during this time of transition, and we can’t wait to continue sharing and growing the library with you.
