☀️📚 Summer Learning Starts Here! 🚀

Did you know that your child can access district learning programs such as Amira and IXL from home throughout the summer? These programs provide engaging activities that help students maintain and strengthen the skills they learned during the school year.

We encourage students to spend a little time each week practicing reading and math. Consistent learning during the summer can help students return to school confident and ready for success.

Students can access these programs through Clever using their district login information. Please refer to the district's "How-to Access Clever from Home" directions for assistance.

🏈 FUTURE STARS SKILLS & DRILLS CAMP 🏈

Calling all future Mustangs! Join us July 13–15 at Coronado High School for 3 days of football fundamentals, skills training, and competition led by Coach Roy and former Mustang/current Texas Tech Red Raider John Curry! 🔥

This camp is designed to help young athletes build confidence, improve technique, and have fun learning the game.

South Plains Food Bank is here from 10:30-10:45 for grab and go sack lunches!
They’ll be here every day Monday-Thursday at this time all summer!

Starting May 26, children 18 & under can enjoy FREE breakfast & lunch at select LubbockISD campuses all summer long! We’re also partnering with the South Plains Food Bank for grab-and-go lunch pickup at neighborhood locations, including Centennial Elementary. 🙌

Centennial families — Coronado High School is offering several exciting summer camps for students who want to stay active, build skills, and have FUN this summer! 💪🎉 From sports camps to skill development opportunities, there’s something for every Rocket!

🏐 Red & Gold Volleyball Camp
Open to aspiring athletes in grades K–9

🥎 34th Street Softball Camp
Hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching instruction for K–incoming freshmen

⚾ Red & Gold Baseball Camp
Skill development for incoming 3rd–9th graders at O’Banion Field

🏀 34th Street Basketball Camp
Hosted by Coronado Head Coach Lee Scott and staff for incoming 1st–9th graders

⚽ Sharp Soccer Camp
Boys and girls incoming 3rd–9th grade at Willie McCool Field

These camps are a great way for our Rockets to stay active, meet new friends, and connect with future Coronado Mustangs! ❤️💛
