All posts must be approved by the Professor of Military Science or their designee. Army ROTC is a unique college elective that develops young men and women for a career as an Officer in the US Army. The credits received from ROTC classes go toward your degree and when you graduate, you’ll receive a degree and commission as a Second Lieutenant either on Active

Duty, the Army National Guard, or the Army Reserve. ROTC training goes beyond the typical college classroom, however, as students learn leadership techniques that go well beyond a tactical environment, and can be used in any setting, civilian or military. The first two years comprise the Basic Course. Whether students want to just get a feel for the program, add some leadership classes to their resume or go through the full program, students can enroll in the Basic Course classes without incurring any future military obligation.

💥Ambush Lab💥

This week, the Red Raider Battalion executed Ambush Lab as part of continued tactical and leadership development. Cadets applied troop leading procedures and conducted ambush operations in a field environment designed to strengthen teamwork and decision-making under pressure. After, the MSIIIs completed their CST prep class over Call for Fire, building proficiency in communication, formatting, and fire support coordination ahead of Cadet Summer Training. RRBN remains committed to producing confident, capable future Army officers.
