🌟 **Employee Recognition** 🌟

I would like to take a moment to recognize an employee who truly went above and beyond.

Ty, a new EMT with Seminole EMS, demonstrated what it means to have a servant’s heart this past Saturday night. While responding to a motor vehicle crash East of town, the crew came upon a disabled vehicle with two women standing outside. Believing it may have been the reported accident, they stopped to check on their safety. After determining it was not the original call, the crew continued on to the MVC.

Once the call was cleared, Ty insisted on going back to assist the women — stopping to change their tire and ensure they were safe before leaving.

This is the kind of dedication that defines Seminole EMS. We are blessed to have team members who genuinely care for others and are committed to serving our community, even when no one is watching.

Jerry Martinez, Base Medical Manager at AeroCare 4 in Seminole, Texas, has been honored as September's Flight Paramedic of the Month. We couldn't be prouder!

Jerry demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication by assisting his flight team with a critical ground transport of an unstable patient. What's even more impressive is that Jerry was off duty at the time and just happened to be at the base when the request came in. His commitment to patient care and his team truly exemplifies the spirit of GMR/Med-Trans/AeroCare.

We would like to proudly congratulate our very own Chief, Carly French! This week, Carly was honored with the EMS Leader of the Year Award at the Texas EMS Alliance Conference.

We are beyond thankful for the incredible leadership, dedication, and countless contributions you’ve made to both our service and to Rural EMS as a whole. Your hard work and passion do not go unnoticed.

Lamb County Judge DeLoach was also awarded with the Presidential award. He has served over 40 years in EMS and has continued to advocate for rural EMS as his role transitioned to Judge.

AeroCare will be hosting a Celebration of Life in honor of our dear friend and colleague, Shirly Scholz. This event is a wonderful opportunity for us to gather and celebrate the remarkable life and contributions of Shirley.

The celebration will take place on July 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the AeroCare Hangar, located at 6006 N. Cedar, Lubbock, TX. For your convenience, parking will be available at the Silent Wings Museum.
