Today is a very sad day……. VFW – Post 2466 Lubbock, Texas

Our Post Commander Ancile (Al) White has passed from this life today. Al died doing what he loved, serving those who served. His mission is complete.

Al had climbed a ladder to repair rope that came loose from the pulley on the VFW flag pole when the pole snapped resulting in a terrible fall. According to those who assisted AL with the flag stated Al died instantly.

Al was a Senior Master Sergeant 21 years Air Force. AL had retired and took ownership of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2466 in 2008. Al leaves behind a wife Jeannie White.

Tuesday September 4th there will be an autopsy with Memorial Services pending. Al‘s wishes were cremation, according to his wife Jeannie. It is my understanding that Memorial Services will be at Lakreidge Methodist Church 4701 82nd Street Lubbock, TX but a date had not been set, pending notification of Al’s daughter’s.

Please celebrate the life of Ancile (Al White) by way of cash or check contributions in lieu of flowers to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, PO Box 3126 Lubbock, Texas 79452. Al would have wanted to keep the VFW Post going for our past, present and future Veterans.

I will keep you posted with information as it is received.

Thank you and please keep the family in your prayers.

It was a memorable night at the VFW Bike- Night, last night. We were extremely HONORED to have visit from the Warrior Brotherhood.

The Warrior Brotherhood was formed to provide a fraternal organization for qualified military veterans who have served, or are currently serving, in the Armed Forces of the United States or US Allied Nations.

The membership of the organization is comprised entirely of active duty, reserve, retired, and honorably discharged veterans who have served in the US or Allied Military

The organization is established to provide a strong sense of pride and mutual support for Veterans who have served their country. The organization will also promote a positive image of military Veterans as well as motorcyclists.

WE ARE PROUD TO BE A BROTHERHOOD OF WARRIORS

There are universal truths that inspire men. These truths are written in the histories of all great nations, and address directly the influence of the "Warrior Class” on the traditions shaping the character of a nation. Our nation's greatness was created out of the traditions of brave men who served the cause of freedom. They formed the foundation for our constitution, the meaning, and might behind our nation's laws. The Warrior Brotherhood Veterans MC is part of that tradition. We have each served our country and risked our lives in its defense, and in the tradition of warriors around the world; we adhere to a different code, different customs, and different protocols. The love we bear for our nation is forever strong.

The Warrior Brotherhood is a Veterans Motorcycle Club. We seek no territory, we have no hidden agendas. We check in, and are granted the right to fly, by the predominate MC where ever we have chapters. We believe in every Veterans right to ride in peace. We will defend that right without fail.
