You hear a lot about single moms, and rightfully so. But today, we’re celebrating a single dad who showed up every single day for his daughter, put in the work, and never gave up. 💪

His journey wasn’t simple or easy, but his determination was stronger. Special thanks to the small group from Monterey Church of Christ who helped provide for and move this daddy daughter duo into their new home! 💙

✨Welcome, Halle! ✨

Halle will be spending her summer as the Family Promise intern! We couldn't be more excited she's here! Halle is a born-and-raised Lubbock native and an incoming senior at the University of Arkansas, where she is pursuing a degree in Public Health. After graduation, she hopes to continue her education by earning a master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health. 💗

She is passionate about community health advocacy and creating connections that strengthen our community. She is most looking forward to learning and serving alongside the Family Promise team this summer! 🤝
