Mrs. Zahn’s 2nd grade class hosted their very own Olympics! After reading about how Ancient Greece contributed to the Olympics we know today! They had a competition measuring their shot put throws and javelin throws!

Bayless Elementary is incredibly grateful for Optimum’s investment in our students and their future! 🤩📚✏️

Yesterday, Optimum presented Bayless Elementary with a $10,000 STEM grant to help us expand meaningful, hands-on STEM learning opportunities for our Plainsmen.

With this generous support, we will be able to provide hands-on science lab equipment for students in kindergarten through fifth grade, launch an after-school robotics program, and host a STEM Family Engagement Night where students and families can learn and explore together.

We are especially thankful for Optimum’s commitment to helping prepare our students for a high-tech future and for recognizing the importance of giving children opportunities to create, explore, problem-solve, and innovate.
