Mrs. Owings’ Marketing Practicum students have been mastering professional communication! Last week, the class practiced business letter writing and learned how to properly address an envelope.

Student Kaleb Coronado decided to write his letter to Candy Girl—and got the ultimate surprise! On Friday, 9/25, Candy Girl personally visited our 2nd period class to deliver a response and brought sweet treats for the entire class!

A huge thank you to Candy Girl for making learning so fun and for providing definitely the fastest response our class has ever received!

Seize the Day! OnRamps biology students took a break on biomolecules to collect fresh rain water and drainage water. We learned how to make wet mount slides and looked at them under the microscope!

This week was GenTX Week and Lubbock-Cooper High School celebrated with a staff door decorating contest and college fight song trivia. Congratulations to the students and teachers who won!

We are grateful to Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives Dustin Burrows for sending a congratulatory resolution recognizing Lubbock-Cooper High School for earning an “A” accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency!

This recognition is a reflection of the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, families, and entire Lubbock-Cooper community. We are proud to celebrate this achievement and appreciate Speaker Burrows for recognizing the excellence happening at Lubbock-Cooper High School.
