📣 Every voice matters! ❤️

Yesterday, our second graders enjoyed a special visit from United We Read! 📚 Students listened to Say Something! by Peter H. Reynolds, a story about the power of using your voice to make a difference. They even created their own megaphones! 📣

Thank you, United We Read, for reminding our students that everyone has something important to say! ❤️

🥤 Speed Stacks Fun in PE! 🥤

Last week, our students had a blast learning Speed Stacks! They practiced their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and speed through fun games and timed challenges!

Now YOU can help us keep the fun going! 🎉 You can order cups, mats, timers, and bags through the link below or send cash with your student. Our PE department will receive 20% of all sales, helping us purchase jumbo stacking cups for even more fun relays and challenges!

Students will get to pick out their sets in class on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to have a backup choice in mind!

We are SO proud of our Patriots who came out to run at LCU on Saturday! A huge shoutout to LCU for giving our elementary students the opportunity to enjoy the course and develop a love of running!

A few of our Patriots even opted for electronic timing bibs — so cool! ⏱️

Now it’s time to form our official Waters Cross Country Team! Seven boys and seven girls will represent our school at the final race in November!

Thank you, families, for coming out and supporting our runners! ❤️💙

See the comments for a link to the results recorded by the optional timing bibs!
