We are so incredibly proud of your Waters DI Team for a successful DI season.

A huge shoutout to their amazing DI coach, Jill Ellison, for her leadership and countless hours supporting our students.

This group of 7 kids call the “Sock-Tastic Seven” from Waters Elementary Destination Imagination team competed this weekend in Kansas City for the Global Finals.

These kids competed and won their regional in Lubbock and then went to Dallas and placed top 3 earning a spot in Globals in Kansas City.

While they raised awareness of the importance of socks in the homeless community, they raised over 600 pairs of Socks and handed them out at several homeless shelters including Grace Campus.

This weekend they finished 5th in the World in the Service Learning category while representing Lubbock and Waters Elementary.

Today was incredibly bittersweet as we said goodbye to our amazing teachers as they leave for their summer break!

Saying farewell is never easy, but we decided to flip those frowns upside down and sweeten their very last day with a yummy pancake cart!

Thank you Rotary Club of Lubbock for donating bikes to two of our perfect attendance students!

Congratulation to Ethan and Tilly!! They both get to take home a brand new bike for the summer because they came to school every day of this school year!

Today we’re celebrating our amazing Speech Pathologist, Mrs. Sauceda, and her sweet Therapy Dog, Heidi!

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Sauceda supporting our Waters students through speech therapy each and every day. Her kindness, patience, and dedication help students grow in confidence and communication skills. And of course, Heidi brings extra smiles, comfort, and love wherever she goes!

Buddy Fun Day 2026 was a great day for ALL our Patriots!!
A huge shoutout to Coach Gilliam and Coach Perdue for organizing such an AMAZING Buddy Fun Day!
