On Wednesday, Deputy Constable Calderon took a small break from serving papers to come out to help the community by connecting with Lubbock Meals On Wheels!
Constables have a serious responsibility to protect and serve the public. Every day, they work to ensure the safety of their communities by enforcing the law, serving court documents, providing security in the courts, and assisting citizens during difficult situations. Their role requires professionalism, integrity, and dedication, as they are often called upon to handle matters that directly impact the lives and well-being of the people they serve.
While the job of a constable carries significant responsibility, it is also rooted in compassion and community service. Constables are more than law enforcement officers—they are neighbors, mentors, and trusted resources for those in need. Whether helping a stranded motorist, supporting local events, assisting families during times of hardship, or simply taking the time to listen, constables genuinely care about the people in their communities. Building relationships and lending a helping hand whenever possible are important parts of their mission to make the community a safer and better place for everyone.💙
