Thank you Post Rock Community Foundation for awarding us the money to purchase a Hypersite Thermal Camera.

🚒 Grant Impact in Action! 🚒

The Post Rock Community Foundation is proud to support the Lucas Rural Fire Department through grant funding for a new thermal imaging camera.

As wind-driven grass and rangeland fires continue to present increasing challenges across our region, this technology will provide firefighters with critical visibility in heavy smoke and even completely blacked-out conditions. The camera will help apparatus operators safely navigate difficult terrain, improve situational awareness, and reduce the risk of injury during emergency responses.
This investment is about more than equipment, it's about protecting the men and women who put themselves in harm's way to keep our communities safe. We are honored to partner with the Lucas Rural Fire Department in enhancing firefighter safety and strengthening emergency response capabilities for the residents of Lucas and the surrounding rural areas.
