Please review the City of Lucas Water Conservation Policy:

https://www.lucastexas.us/204/Water-Conservation

The policy outlines the designated days and times when outdoor watering is permitted within the City of Lucas.

Please note that Wednesday is not a designated watering day for any zone within the City. All residents and businesses are asked to refrain from outdoor watering on Wednesdays to allow the City’s water reserves to replenish and help maintain adequate water supply levels.

If you observe a potential violation of the Water Conservation Policy, please refer to the policy for information regarding the available methods for reporting violations.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to responsible water conservation within the City of Lucas.

Water is one of our most precious, and limited, natural resources. In the City of Lucas, where we value both open spaces and a high quality of life, responsible water use is essential to preserving our way of life.

⚠️ WATER CONSERVATION IS CRITICAL – PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR WATERING SCHEDULE ⚠️

The City of Lucas is asking all residents and water customers to help reduce water usage and strictly follow their designated watering schedule.

With summer rainfall declining and temperatures remaining high, water demand has increased significantly. It is extremely important that we reduce water usage wherever possible to help maintain adequate water storage levels and avoid more restrictive water conservation measures.

💧 Please help by:
Following your designated watering days and times.
Reducing outdoor watering whenever possible.
Avoiding unnecessary water use.
Checking irrigation systems for leaks, broken sprinkler heads, or excessive runoff.

Every effort to conserve water makes a difference. Thank you for doing your part to help protect our community's water supply.

As the summer rains have stopped and the Texas heat is upon us, the city’s water usage has drastically increased. In order to ensure that we have plenty or water storage and do not run into rationing conditions, we ask that EVERYONE pay attention to and follow their prescribed watering schedule. If you are unsure of your watering days, please check the City of Lucas website, https://www.lucastexas.us/224/Watering-Schedule.

We appreciate your assistance with practicing water conservation and helping to ensure that our City maintains vibrant water levels.

Each property in Lucas has assigned watering days to ensure responsible water use.
