Firefighters with CCFD recently took delivery of much needed station and firefighting equipment including gear lockers, fire hose storage and drying racks, and a new thermal imaging camera. The project was made possible through a grant from South Central Power Co., Operation Round Up. CCFD was one of many recipients from the April 2026 round of awards! Grants are awarded by the South Central Power Company Foundation from donations from members who round up their bills through the Operation Round Up program.
After careful review of multiple quotes All American Fire Equipment was selected by CCFD as the vendor to complete the project.
CCFD is extremely thankful for South Central Power Company and their members who donate and make this program possible!

Camp Creek Volunteer Fire Department has received a donation of emergency drinking water from Anheuser-Busch in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council.

Each year, Anheuser-Busch pauses beer production to produce emergency drinking water, and in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council, ensures volunteer firefighters have the critical hydration they need during extreme heat. We’re proud to be one of the departments receiving this donation to help keep our team hydrated during wildfires and extended responses.

We had a great time reaching out to the community at the Pike County Fair today! Thanks to everyone who stopped and chatted with us at the Pike County Firefighter’s Association booth in the art hall and congratulations to the three individuals that won our at home fire safety kits!
