The Lucedale Police Department would like to wish all our students, faculty and staff in the district a happy and safe first day back to school tomorrow!

🖍 Drivers please be on the lookout for school zones and ALWAYS obey the speed zones--Our officers will be monitoring traffic near school zones to make sure drivers are following speed limits and watching out for our children.

🖍 Please remember to watch out for our school crossing guards and obey their signals

🖍 Be aware of and watch out for Children walking or riding bikes to school this morning

🖍 Leave early to give yourself enough time to get your destination, we want everyone to get their on time but most importantly safely!

As we celebrate our nation's independence, we hope everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable holiday with family and friends.

As you enjoy today's festivities, please remember:
🇺🇸 Drive safely and never drink and drive.
🎇 Leave fireworks to responsible adults and follow all safety guidelines.
👨‍👩‍👧 Keep a close eye on children around fireworks and busy sreeets.
🐾 Don't forget about your pets—they can become frightened by loud fireworks.
🚔 Be patient with increased traffic and watch for pedestrians due to the firework show later today.
