Today we're excited to officially announce Tiffany Westfall as our Educational Program Manager!
Tiffany has been a dedicated part of the WMS family for many years. She is deeply involved in so many aspects of our mission and has been doing an incredible job caring for our Ambassador pups.
We truly couldn't ask for a better person to join Momma Wolf on the team. Tiffany has been an invaluable part of WMS, and we love her dearly. She has one of the biggest hearts you'll ever meet, is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking, and has a true passion for wolves/wolfdogs and their care.
Her dedication, generosity, and willingness to always go the extra mile have made a lasting impact on both our wolves and our organization. We are so grateful for everything she does, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things she'll accomplish in this new role.

About Tiffany (her words):
My passion for wolves began long before I ever stepped into a sanctuary. As a little girl, I was always drawn to dogs, and over time that fascination grew into a deep appreciation for wolves and wolfdogs.
Before my father passed away, he gave me a piece of advice that has stayed with me throughout my life. He told me, "If you ever need guidance after I'm gone, seek the spirit of the wolf." At the time, I believed those words were about finding him again. Years later, I realized they were also about finding myself and discovering a path I was meant to follow.
Nearly 15 years ago, a friend introduced me to the San Diego Wolf Walks, where I had the opportunity to care for, handle, and walk ambassador wolfdogs. Those experiences changed the way I viewed these often-misunderstood animals and showed me the incredible impact education can have.
It was during that time that I met Tonya Little Wolf, founder and owner of Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. For nearly 15 years, Tonya has been both a personal and professional mentor, sharing her knowledge, experience, and unwavering dedication to wolves and wolfdogs.
A few years later, my friend passed away, and the very same wolfdog I had walked during the San Diego Wolf Walks found a forever home at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary. In many ways, I found one too. What began as caring for one familiar animal became a lifelong commitment to the sanctuary's mission. For the past 12 years, I have proudly served as a wolf handler and educator, training ambassador wolfdogs, fostering and raising ambassador puppies when needed, and participating in educational programs throughout our communities.
My commitment extends beyond the sanctuary. For more than a decade, I have supported wolf advocacy efforts, including Speak for the Wolves, and for the past three years I have participated in Hogs for Hope, helping advocate for stronger laws against animal cruelty and giving a voice to animals that cannot speak for themselves.
In addition to my work with Wolf Mountain Sanctuary, I am the founder and Executive Director of Valley of the Moon Wild & Sweet, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to honeybee rescue and relocation, wildlife education, and conservation. I am also the author of It Takes a Pack: Adventures with Nala, an educational children's coloring book created to inspire curiosity, compassion, and a deeper understanding of wolves, pollinators, and the natural world. Whether working with wolves, honeybees, or through the pages of my book, my mission remains the same: to replace fear with understanding through education.
Looking back, I often think about my father's words: "If you ever need guidance after I'm gone, seek the spirit of the wolf." I once believed those words were about finding him. Today, I realize they led me to a life of education, conservation, and service—a journey I am honored to continue every day with Wolf Mountain Sanctuary.
