With over 350 square miles of response area, Northshore Fire Protection district boasts one of the largest in the state. Spanning from the Colusa/Lake County Line to the Mendocino/Lake County Line, our response area features residential buildings, commercial buildings, wildland/urban interface; and potential water rescues, cliff rescues, confined space rescues, hazardous material incidents, high s

peed vehicle accidents. In addition to numerous other types of threats that our Firefighters have to be trained and prepared to mitigate.

Local 5111 your Northshore professional firefighters would like to say congratulations to Aubreyana Suzor of Upper Lake for winning the Local 5111 Fire Explorer scholarship of $1000. Aubreyana was an active Explorer, VP with ABS, very involved with FFA and an ambassador at Upper Lake High for new students. She obtained her AA degree while still in high school and maintaining 3.7 GPA. She’s gonna apply this to her next adventure at Chico State. We wish her the very best.
