🌟 It’s National School Psychology Week! 🌟

This week celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the important role they play in schools and communities so today we give a big shoutout to Lindsey Radinzel! The Middle and High School Spanish Club hosted their first annual World Showcase event last month! 🌟

Students researched information about Spanish-speaking countries and created posters to present at the event. They also made tasty snacks from their country of choice for visitors to sample including pupusas from El Salvador, Mexican hot chocolate from Mexico, and a coconut pudding from Costa Rica. 🥥

The Spanish Club also prepared fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, and all of the fixings for homemade taco bowls, as well as tres leches cake for dessert. Yum! 🌮

The Luck FCCLA chapter recently attended a leadership conference at UW–Stout with a group of dedicated members. Students participated in a variety of breakout sessions focused on topics such as community service projects, fundraising strategies, time management, leadership as a chapter officer, and how to compete successfully in FCCLA events. 🌟💫

A special thank you goes to Mr. Hinkel for driving and supporting the members. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from Teagyn Hinkel, an FCCLA state officer, who presented to students from across the region. 👏

The School District of Luck Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill a board member vacancy. The Luck School Board meets on the fourth Monday of every month to guide district policy, budgets, and educational goals. For more information about board responsibilities and meeting dates, visit https://www.lucksd.k12.wi.us/district/Board.cfm

Next Steps:
➡️ Letters of interest will be reviewed on November 17, 2025.

➡️ If needed, interviews will be held on December 22, 2025 with an appointment made the same day.

➡️ The appointed board member will officially begin their term at the January Board Meeting.

➡️ The appointment will run through the April Board Meeting, at which point the seat will be up for election in the Spring Election.

Pumpkin Project Fun! 🎃

For this project, third graders were given 20 straws and roughly 4 feet of tape to create a stand for their pumpkin. They were encouraged to use their creativity and engineering skills to make a unique stand that would withhold the weight of their pumpkin! 🍂
