THANK YOU!!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our annual toy drive, it was a huge success!

A special thank you to Troy Township Fire and EMS, the Predmore family, the Hoodlebrink family, Anthony Wenig and Nick and Kim Boltz from Luckey Liquidations for your generosity! Also thank you to the Neill’s for the use of their truck and deliver everything to JFS. Because of everyone’s kindness, there will be a lot of happy children on Christmas morning in Wood County.

On behalf of Luckey PD, thank you to everyone! Have a safe and Merry Christmas!

7TH ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BADGES

It’s that time of year again when I ask for your help to give every child in Wood County a Merry Christmas. Wood County Job and Family Services has reached out and asked if we were able to help the children in Wood County who otherwise would not have a Christmas. Of course I said yes!

Once again the Police Departments of Luckey, Pemberville and Bradner will be having a friendly little competition to see who can collect the most toys. Because of the enormous generosity of all the residents of Luckey, eight years and counting we have been able to provide for the kids of Wood County and won every year of the Battle of the Badges! All toys collected will be delivered to Job and Family Services on Monday December 8th, 2025.

The Luckey Police Department will be holding our annual toy drive on Saturday December 6th, 2025. It will be held at the Village Municipal Building, at 226 Main Street between the hours of 11:00 am until 6:00 pm. Please bring a new unwrapped toy to place under our tree. If you are unable to attend on Saturday please call 419-494-5707 to make arraignments to drop off your toys.

Last year because of the amazing residents of our village, we were able to pack a 14 foot box truck from top to bottom and front to back with no room to spare! We are hoping to do the same this year or bigger! I can’t properly express the thanks for all the generosity this village has shown. Please have a safe and happy Holiday Season !
