Ludington native and Nashville-based artist, Chloe Kimes, will present a free concert on 7/2 at Waterfront Park. 🎶

In May 2022, National Public Radio recognized Kimes as one of “10 Nashville Artists on the Rise.” She is a weekend DJ at WMOT and a Middle Tennessee State University graduate.

🍨 We're thrilled to announce that House of Flavors, Inc., Michigan's largest ice cream manufacturer and a Ludington treasure since 1937, has established a donor advised fund with the Community Foundation for Mason County!

House of Flavors, Inc. (also known as House of Flavors manufacturing) is the main funding engine for the Protein Foundation, which provides substantial grants to organizations dedicated to physically and spiritually nourishing others.

House of Flavors manufacturing donated $200,000 to Mason County this year alone. Recipients included Blue Hat Ministries, West Shore Family Support, the Rotary Club of Ludington STRIVE program, Habitat for Humanity, HELP Ministry, Salvation Army, Human Trafficking Prevention & Victim Support, Covenant Christian School, Ludington Area Catholic School, Lakeshore Food Club, and several other local organizations.

"We're very blessed to work for an organization that gives funds away and takes really good care of its people," says Sarah Holmes, Vice President of Finance. "It's bigger than ice cream."
