🇺🇸 🇺🇸 MEET YOUR LUDLOW–PALMER VETERANS SERVICES TEAM! 🇺🇸

We’re proud to introduce the full-time team serving veterans and their families throughout Ludlow and Palmer. With staff available five days a week, our goal is to make veterans services more accessible and ensure our veterans and their families have a place to turn when they need assistance.

Each member of our team brings military service, experience, and a strong commitment to helping veterans access the benefits and resources they have earned.

Eric Segundo, U.S. Army Veteran, has served as the Director of Veterans Services in Ludlow for more than 13 years and is an accredited representative with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Michael Moore, U.S. Army Veteran, serves as our Administrative Clerk, overseeing the day-to-day administrative functions of the department and helping keep services running smoothly for our veterans and families.

Larry Brace, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), serves as our VA-Accredited Claims Consultant, assisting veterans and eligible family members with VA disability claims, appeals, and other benefit-related matters.

Together, our team is here to assist veterans, surviving spouses, and dependents in navigating the benefits, programs, and resources available to them. Whether you need help with VA claims, Massachusetts Chapter 115 benefits, property tax exemptions, healthcare enrollment, pension benefits, burial benefits, veterans’ programs, or other services, we are here to help.

🇺🇸 MASSACHUSETTS VETERANS — YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR A PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION! 🇺🇸

Massachusetts offers several property tax exemptions for eligible veterans, surviving spouses, Gold Star families, and certain disabled veterans under M.G.L. Chapter 59, Section 5.

Depending on your eligibility, exemptions may include:

⭐ Clause 22 – Basic Veteran Exemption
⭐ Clause 22A – Serious Service-Connected Injury / Certain Decorations / POW
⭐ Clause 22B – Severe Service-Connected Disabilities
⭐ Clause 22C – Permanent & Total Disability with Adapted Housing
⭐ Clause 22D – Certain Surviving Spouses
⭐ Clause 22E – 100% Service-Connected Disability
⭐ Clause 22F – Paraplegic Veterans or 100% Service-Connected Blindness
⭐ Clause 22H – Certain Gold Star Parents/Guardians (local option)

Today marks a historic milestone for veterans in our communities.

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Services has officially approved the merger of the Ludlow and Palmer Veterans’ Services Departments, creating the Ludlow-Palmer Veterans Services Department.

This partnership strengthens our ability to serve veterans, surviving spouses, and eligible dependents by expanding outreach, improving access to benefits, enhancing accountability, and ensuring long-term sustainability while maintaining services in both Ludlow and Palmer.

Veterans can continue to receive assistance with VA benefits, Chapter 115 financial assistance, health care enrollment, transportation, outreach programs, emergency assistance, and much more.

This is more than a merger—it’s a commitment to providing the highest level of service to those who served our nation.

Eligible veterans and military family members will receive Massachusetts’ annuity starting this week, with direct deposits and paper checks arriving in the coming days.
