Our friends at Forest Park Zoo experienced a powerful microburst over the weekend, causing significant damage. However, the dedicated staff is effectively ensuring the safety of all animals. No injuries occurred, and the animals remain safe. We stand in support and pray for a swift recovery. We are also prepared to offer any assistance needed.

Wally Lupa was great to work with and was knowledgeable and understanding while working with me as a future Eagle Scout. I am Josh Trexler from Troop 1849 in Chicopee, MA, determined to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. My troop and I have worked hard together to make it our goal to see all our troop members achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. It gives the troop and organization a great opportunity in life to have such recognition. Overall, the project was amazing and went very smoothly with lots of help and clear organization. A big thank you to Mr. Lupa and his organization; it is truly amazing what the zoo has accomplished over the years. Along with me as the Eagle Scout, going there every summer for many, many years”
