Windsor County Youth Services Windsor County Youth Services is a Non-Profit Homeless Shelter for Youth in Crisis.

Mountainside House and House at 20 Mile Stream are located in the Ludlow area. Both houses create a safe, structured environment for youth who are in need of either basic shelter or a stable home for either several days or several months. Mountainside, the all-boys’ home, and 20Mile, the girls’ home, have a solid education program year-round that teaches the basics, or GED work, as well as life sk

ills, the opportunity to go on educational field trips, and experience community service work. Windsor County Youth Services offers support groups, counseling, residential programs for homeless youth, overall emotional development including anger and stress management, workshops focusing on substance abuse, and the general knowledge and tools to live a healthy lifestyle.

Thanks to a generous donation from Bombas , HCRS received 10,000 pairs of socks to distribute to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness! 🧦

For someone without stable housing, a quality pair of socks can make a bigger difference than most people realize. It’s not just about warmth—it’s about dignity, comfort, and basic health.

We’re working with local shelters, nonprofits, and our 20+ locations to get them where they belong: on the feet of people who need them.
