Well folks I know it has been awhile since I posted. We have been in the hospital going on 55 days now. The wife's cancer has spread to her lungs and kidneys and her glands now. She is fighting a really severe case of colitis. The docs say they have never seen a case of colitis this bad. The topper was on the 18th of January our house burnt and it is a total loss. So to say the least it has been a rough start to the new year.........,..

Okay peeps We still have to have surgery on my wife to have the port removed for a Cancer treatments. I have been talking with several individuals in the community in the process of trying to put together another event and the Angelina county area. I would really like to kick this off and become the non-profit organization to assist our veterans when they need it most.I will be posting more details when we have an actual date and location. I will also be putting together bake sales and other events to assist and gathering donations to hold the event. Thank you to all those who are following and assisting. Please continue to drive on and assist our soldiers as they try to move forward in life. Have a good day.

I know it's been almost a year since I started this journey. My wife's diagnosis of cancer hit us really hard. We are almost through with all the treatments and she is clear of the cancer. I am looking to get back to having the picnics and gatherings.

Got to the hotel time to rest or at least try. Long week ahead she is already sleeping radiation again tomorrow and every day this week. Poor Terrie she is just so tuckered out from all this wished there was more I could do for her.

Sorry about the absence my wife is diagnosed with breast cancer she starts chemo this Friday still planning to shoot for July time frame for next picnic. It will be the same as last family and veterans are welcome. Date time and location to follow. Thank you all who attended our first veteran picnic.
