🎓 Polk County Drug-Free Councils ended the school year by encouraging students to make safe choices during graduation celebrations and throughout the summer months.
At Corrigan-Camden High School, Drug-Free Council members assembled paper fans for graduating seniors featuring the message, “Stay cool. Live sober.”
At Leggett High School, seniors received “Graduate Strong. Celebrate Smart.” buttons as reminders to celebrate responsibly and safely.
At Livingston High School, students signed a graduation safety pledge banner and received rubber ducks featuring the message, “Rubber ducky this is wise, no alcohol as you rise. Celebrate graduation safely.”
A big thank you to the students and sponsors who helped spread positive prevention messages and encourage a safe, successful summer for their peers. ☀️🎉
The Drug-Free Council program is funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes in Texas.
