All veterans and active service members are invited to participate in our parade! 🚗

Please enter through the Main Entrance off Wildwood Lane and follow the convoy to be recognized and celebrated by our students and staff.

We encourage participants to drive through at least twice so everyone has the chance to show their appreciation.

Let’s come together to thank those who have served and continue to serve our country! ❤️💙

Our 4th graders had a blast at the 10th Annual KCSD Read-In! It was a wonderful day celebrating our love of books alongside students and schools from across the district.📖

🚨🦺 Safety First at Wateree! 🦺🚨

Our Cardinals had an incredible time learning all about safety during the Safety Town program, led by SC Career Kids and sponsored by the Lugoff Optimist Club! 💛

A huge THANK YOU to the Optimist Club for organizing, sponsoring, and volunteering their time to make this event possible — and to the amazing community helpers from the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department, DNR, and Lugoff Fire Department for teaching our students everything from dialing 911 on a locked phone to crossing the street, wearing life jackets, and bicycling safely. 🚓🚒🚤

We’re also so grateful for all of the parent volunteers who came out to help — your support makes such a difference! 🙌

And of course, a special shoutout to Mrs. Verdini, our wonderful school counselor, for coordinating this event for our students! ❤️

✨ Multiplication in Action! ✨
Mrs. Raines’ third graders are diving into multiplication using hands-on manipulatives from our new math curriculum! These tools help students see and model their equations as they build a strong foundation for future math success. 💪➕✖️

🌟 Meet today’s All-Star, Principal Shane Bagwell of Wateree Elementary School:

🍿 Game day snack: Appetizer foods—wings, meatballs, sliders, dips, jalapeño poppers, and more
🏟️ Favorite sports memory: Catching a Kenny Lofton foul ball off Bobby Witt at Jacobs Field in 1999
💡 Our school team are “All-Stars” because: We’re a team full of glue guys and gals—always holding it together!
