Update: at 8 pm Lugoff Fire will maintain 4 personnel throughout the night, relieving previous personnel sent earlier today.

8/17/26: Lugoff Fire has been requested as mutual aid by Fairfield County Fire Service to assist with the commercial fire at the MLily factory in Winnsboro. Tower 7 and Squad 8 are responding with 6 personnel.

FREE COMMUNITY LIFESAVER TRAINING!

Thanks to funding provided by the Health Foundation of Kershaw County, we are excited to offer free Community Lifesaver Training to our local residents! Space is limited, so we ask that you signup using the Google Form at the QR Code or Link https://bit.ly/lfdcpr

Update 6:30 pm Fire units have cleared.

7/12/26 5:25 pm: Lugoff Fire and Kershaw County Fire are on scene Interstate 20 east bound near mile marker 91 with another multiple vehicle motor vehicle collision. This will be before the Lugoff exit going East. The left lane is blocked. Use caution and avoid the area.

Update: 5:00pm all Fire units have cleared the scene.

07/12/26 2:30 pm: Lugoff Fire, Kershaw County Fire, Kershaw County EMS and South Carolina Highway Patrol are on scene Interstate 20 westbound at the 88 mile marker with a motor vehicle collision involving several vehicles and a vehicle pulling a 5th wheel camper. The camper is overturned blocking the left lane. This is one mile before the Elgin exit going West. Avoid the area.
