Campbell’s expands Maxton site to fuel growth in soup and broth.

As at-home cooking continues to drive demand across our brands, we’re investing in our supply chain to support growth in soup and broth. We recently completed a new 88,000-square-foot expansion to our plant in Maxton, North Carolina, including an additional 28,000-square-feet of utility mezzanine space. The investment adds advanced filling lines, enhances efficiency, and creates around 100 new jobs—strengthening both our supply chain and our commitment to the Robeson County.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the F.O.C.U.S. Program (Focusing on Choices, Understanding Success), a unique and free three-day academy designed for youth ages 8-15.

This program will provide young people with valuable lessons on accountability, respect, decision-making, goal setting, positive behaviors, and the real-life consequences of poor choices. Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with deputies, tour various locations and divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, hear stories from inmates and others, and learn skills that can help them build a brighter future.

Jason King recently attended the Lumberton Kiwanis Club to provide an update and presentation on behalf of Robeson County Government . During the meeting, Rotary Club President Phillip Britt welcomed the presentation and presented Jason King with a Rotary Club coffee mug as a token of appreciation for his service and commitment to the community. It was a great opportunity to share information about county initiatives and strengthen partnerships between local civic organizations dedicated to serving Robeson County.

Join Robeson County Juvenile Services and Robeson County EMS for EKS: Educating Kids About Safety – Real World Consequences, a powerful youth safety and trauma awareness event.

Participants will learn about the real-life consequences of gun violence, auto accidents, drug overdoses, and emergency situations through hands-on demonstrations and educational presentations. Topics include CPR, Stop the Bleed, Narcan awareness, firearm safety, AED training, and more.
