Lumberton ISD Closed Tuesday, September 1

Out of an abundance of caution due to forecasted weather conditions, Lumberton ISD will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our top priority. We encourage everyone to take necessary precautions, stay weather-aware, and remain safe throughout the storm.

All Lumberton ISD extracurricular games and practices scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled. Coaches and sponsors will communicate any additional information regarding rescheduling directly with students and families.

As of now, Lumberton ISD plans to resume classes on Wednesday, September 2. We will continue to monitor weather and local conditions and will communicate any changes or additional information through ParentSquare and the Lumberton ISD page.

Staff: If you need any resources or assistance during the forecasted storm, please contact your immediate supervisor.
