The ladies at the Courthouse Café are always cooking up something good! My favorites are the Southwest Chicken Salad and Tuna Fish Sandwich! I hear the Cheeseburger is pretty good too, and that’s today’s Lunch Special!!

🪅 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🪅 2025 🪅

As we begin the first day of a brand new year, I want to say “Thank You” to ALL Hardin County Officials and Employees who serve daily to ensure Hardin County continues to be the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I especially appreciate Sheriff Mark Davis and all in his Office who work so hard every day and night to ensure the safety of our County through their selfless service and protection. Our Constables do the same and I thank and commend them as well. I look forward to swearing in our Sheriff, Constables, District Attorney, a County Commissioner and our new Tax Assessor-Collector this afternoon!

My hope for 2025 is that everyone will have a happy and healthy year, that all broken fences can be mended, and for all to spend quality time with family and friends as often as possible.

Thank you to the citizens of Hardin County for the opportunity to serve as your County Judge. It is an honor to work on your behalf. I look forward to continuing to serve you for the next 2 years, God willing, and hopefully beyond. I offer you my continued promise to do the best job I possibly can for you as long as you will let me.

Over the past few weeks, reminders have been popping up from my election 10 years ago. It was certainly a rough time for me and my family with all of the negative attack ads and lies by my opponent. But, that doesn’t hold a candle to what we are seeing today, does it?!

Please don’t let that deter you from voting in this important election. Sift through all of the information to find the truths about all candidates, and choose the person you feel is right to work for and serve you in each race. Thankfully, all Hardin County Candidates up for re-election this year are doing such a great job, none of them have opponents!
