On July 25, communities across the region will come together to celebrate our shared waterways with free, family-friendly events that connect people to the waterfront. From kayaking and educational activities to tours, performances, and community gatherings, City of Water Day is your chance to get out on the water and explore your waterfront.

Hosted by Waterfront Alliance and the NYโ€“NJ Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), this region-wide celebration highlights the importance of waterfront access, climate resilience, and community connection, with 70+ local organizations hosting events across the region.
