📉Budget Blueprint: The School Budgeting Process Never Stops

Just like balancing a household budget, managing a school district's finances requires thoughtful planning and careful decision-making. Throughout the year, Lumberton ISD works through a continuous budget cycle—planning, adopting, implementing, and evaluating—to ensure resources are aligned with district priorities and student needs. Our goal is simple: make every dollar count in supporting student success.

📢 PUBLIC NOTICE: UPCOMING LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING AT LISD FACILITIES 📢

Lumberton ISD families and community members, please be advised that area law enforcement agencies will be utilizing select district facilities to conduct routine training exercises on June 12 and June 23, 2026.

If you see an increased presence of emergency vehicles or first responders on our campuses during these times, please do not be alarmed! These are scheduled training opportunities that support our continued partnership with local and regional public safety agencies.

Here is what you need to know:

📆 Friday, June 12, 2026

Where: LISD property located behind the Primary and Intermediate Campuses.

📆 Tuesday, June 23, 2026

Where: Limited, secured portions of Lumberton High School, not affecting Summer School students and staff.

🛡️ Why We Host These Events
Allowing first responders to train in realistic educational environments significantly improves their preparedness for school-based emergencies. These exercises strengthen interagency coordination, enhance law enforcement's understanding of our campus layouts, and reinforce the strong relationships that protect our community.

Lumberton ISD is proud to contribute to initiatives that improve emergency response capabilities throughout our region. Thank you for your cooperation, understanding, and continued support as we work together to maintain a safe and secure environment for our students and staff!
