Robeson County African American Cultural Center The center is organized with a commitment to chronicle the many outstanding achievements of African American individuals and organizations.

The Robeson County African American Cultural Center was incorporated on April 18, 1995. The building that the center is housed in was purchased in March of 1999. An addition to the center was dedicated on November 18, 2014. The center is available for projects and programs sponsored by the center and other community groups.

- To provide health information regarding high blood pressure, AIDS, obes

ity, diabetes and other health concerns
- To provide, in partnership with other organizations, information about child and adult abuse prevention, teen pregnancy, drop-out and gang violence prevention
- To provide programs and forums to strengthen African-American families
- To support activities that will improve the economic status of all Robesonians
- To facilitate cultural activities and promote secondary and post-secondary education
