Lunenburg PTO The Lunenburg PTO is a non-profit organization that supports the Lunenburg Primary School, Turkey Hill Middle School, and the Lunenburg High School.

The Lunenburg PTO is a system-wide organization comprised of Parents, Teachers, Administrators and Community members committed to promoting the "best" educational experience for our children in the Lunenburg Public Schools. PTO meetings are held once a month, and they are informative and interesting. Each meeting has administrators and other guest speakers that highlight

their school programs. We also have representatives from each school and from the School Committee attend the meetings to keep everyone informed with any news and information from the respective schools and committees. We are very grateful to the Lunenburg PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) for offering their Scholarship Application for our 2026 graduates.

The Lunenburg PTO is an organization whose mission is based on providing service to the Lunenburg Public Schools and the Lunenburg Community.

They offer and award a scholarship to graduating seniors from Lunenburg High School who plan to continue their education beyond high school. The scholarship is based on volunteerism and performance of community service.

This year, the Lunenburg Parent-Teacher Organization will be awarding a $1,500.00 scholarship.

For the Scholarship Policy, more information, deadlines and the application, please see the PDF’s provided below.

As always, students may visit the High School Guidance Office to obtain hard copies of all scholarship information and applications.

Our Story

PTO meetings are held once a month, and they are informative and interesting, but are not mandatory. Each meeting has administrators and other guest speakers that highlight their school programs. We also have representatives from each school and from the School Committee attend the meetings to keep everyone informed with any news and information from the respective schools and committees.

The PTO also runs fundraisers throughout the school year in order to give back to our schools in ways which directly benefit students across the district. These funds provide programming and learning materials for students which might otherwise be cost-prohibitive.
