Most offices in Town Hall & the Ritter Building will be closed on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 for staff training.

The Town Clerk's Office will be open regular hours: 8AM to 1PM and 3PM to 6PM. The Treasurer/Collector's Office will be open 8 AM to11:30 AM and 1:30 PM-6 PM.

The Parks Commission has voted to launch a one-year pilot program aimed at expanding recreation opportunities throughout Lunenburg while exploring whether recreation services can become largely self-supporting through program participation and user-generated revenue.

The pilot will be funded through the Parks Revolving Fund, which is supported by recreation program fees, facility rentals, and other recreation-related revenues. Under local bylaw, the revolving fund may be used for recreation staffing, materials, programs, and related expenses.

Today, the Town of Lunenburg joins our community in remembering Hadley “Haddie B.” Boucher and extending our deepest condolences to her parents, Derek and Alyssa, and her sisters, Olivia and Peyton, as well as her entire extended family and loved ones.

Haddie touched the lives of many residents, students, staff, and community members.

We ask that you keep her family in your thoughts as they gather to honor and celebrate her life today. 💚💚💚

Here are the key dates you need to know:
- Nomination Papers available now from the Town Clerk
- June 18th: Last day to obtain Nomination Papers
- June 20th: Last day to submit Nomination Papers to Registrars
- July 29th: Last day to register to vote
- August 5th: Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail
- August 7th: Last day to vote absentee over the counter (by Noon)
